Stands for hot is not necessary to make standard round napkins. You can do the original and give them an interesting shape or simulate the appearance of an object. For example, a knitted sunflower crochet will become a bright addition to the decor, and as a stand under the cup will give summer notes to your drink.
For knitting you can use any yarn and a suitable hook for yarn.
